Being Sensitive Is No Burden

I used to think being sensitive was a bad thing. And that showing all my emotions was a sign of weakness. But if you take that one trait away, you take away the element that makes me who I am. Being sensitive doesn’t have to be tied with a negative connotation. Being sensitive just means that you feel deeper than others, that you have the ability to greatly empathize, that you appreciate minuscule details, and you have a unique passion for others no matter who they may be.

Being able to show your true emotions should be seen as a strength. You’re not afraid to let people your true colors. When you’re sensitive, you take everything to heart. You know exactly what it’s like to be sad or furious…. and you don’t ever want anyone you love to feel that way. But you also know what it’s like to be on top of the world, so you only seek happiness for those important to you.

Everyone should want to have someone sensitive in their life. Those who are sensitive will always be true and loyal to you. They will always make sure you are content if it’s the last thing they do. Personally, I would rather have someone who expresses their emotions than someone who doesn’t express any emotion at all. I wouldn’t be able to tell what their thinking or feeling and I would always question how they felt about me. At least with someone sensitive you’ll know exactly what they’re thinking and feeling in real time.
